Harryana is an associate television producer and freelance video producer who works closely with senior producers to create and develop entertaining, engaging and informative content for broadcast, cable and digital platforms. Her background is in daytime talk, reality tv, digital media and film casting. She has worked on shows which have aired on the CW, Reelz and VH1 networks.
Her passion for documentary and television production is displayed in the work she has developed in the areas of crime, social issues, lifestyle and culture. As associate producer, Harryana has worked to book and produce harrowing and remarkable stories about human trafficking survivors, deadly Craigslist scams, rape, murder, the K2 drug epidemic, revenge killings, wrongful convictions, online dating scams, psychic scams and real estate scams.
Building and maintaining exceptional professional relationships with clients, on-air talent, experts, co-workers and vendors is a practice Harryana takes very seriously. She has been fortunate enough to work with several reality television personalities, authors, celebrities and comedians including EIC of Vibe Magazine Datwon Thomas, Basketball Wives star Jackie Christie, VH1’s Tionna Smalls, Chuck Nice, Treach of famed rap group “Naughty By Nature” and his wife Cicely as well as psychologist Dr. Jeff Gardere. She has also worked for and learned from some of the top Executive and Senior Producers in the media industry.
A graduate of the State University of New York at Old Westbury, Harryana received her Bachelor of Arts in media and communications. She is a two time “MAC Award” winner for best documentary and best blog. The winner of each category was judged and selected by senior staff at NBC, The New York Times and other professional media organizations.
